To launch emerging leaders and renew veteran leaders.
Meet Jay
Jay spent 20+ years in the world of Information Technology. It began while completing his Bachelor of Business Administration degree (minor in Psychology) at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. Much of this time was as a Project Manager, leading teams of 12-70 people in software application development and platform migrations.
During his years as Project Manager, Jay observed that success or failure of significant endeavors pivoted on the leaders’ approach and skills. This began a quest to understand leadership principles and cultivate key practices for himself and his colleagues. He then spent three plus years directing a leader development program at the consulting firm where he was a Partner.
Jay went on to complete his Masters degree from Liberty University (focused on Leadership). Recently, he has spent five years designing and implementing a Leader Development Initiative for a fast-growing, global organization— involving a team of five Facilitators/Coaches and nearly 300 management Participants. This included a customized approach (with content from Lencioni’s Table Group, FranklinCovey, TalentSmart, Arbinger Institute and Gallup Research).
Board of Reference
GlenArbor’s Board of Reference is composed of practitioners who have served as work colleagues, advisors and/or accountability partners with Jay. Each person has been involved in some manner to help shape the frameworks, key concepts and critical practices that anchor GlenArbor’s approach to developing leaders and nurturing Healthy & Smart organizations.
